​​NZ MTBO Champs 2025 Schedule

Saturday 1st  February –  Sprint Distance NZMTBO Champs

• First starts -morning

Saturday 1st  February- Middle Distance NZMTBO Champs

• Matangi Station
• 2km south east of Alexandra
• First starts - afternoon

Sunday 2nd February- - Long Distance NZMTBO Champs

• Naseby Forest
• Located 1 hour /60 minutes  north east of Alexandra 
• First starts morning​

Course information

• ​Some route choices will require crossing of fences or closed gates.  However in most instances obstacles are either of a short distance and can be circumnavigated, or are a single wire rope or metal bar under which a bike can be wheeled or dragged.   
• Courses 5 and 6 have been designed so that there are no difficult fences on the optimal route.  E-bikes on Rec Medium should carefully consider route choices if the bike is too heavy to lift over a fence.
• M Open competitors will need to use a high capacity SI-card (ie.  SIAC (SI air), SI-6, SI-9, SI-10 or SI-11)

• From Invercargill 2.5 hours
• From Dunedin 3 hours 15mins
